| WALKING SAFARI |
| It is advisable that participants be physically fit
and under the age of 70 years. For safety reasons, no children under the age
of 16 years. Walking is relatively easy over flat, firm ground with few
sandy patches. The morning walk is 7 - 10 kilometres (4 - 5 hours). An afternoon walk of
3 - 4 kilometres (2 - 3 hours) is conducted in the vicinity of each fly camp. Night
drives are available with the support vehicle doubling as game drive
vehicle. |

| Walking safaris operate between
Zibalianja and Selinda Camps, with 2 nights spent at Mokoba and Tshwene fly
camps in the northern reaches of a 1350km2 private concession – The Selinda.
Accommodation is in twin / double custom built tents with fly sheet, erected
on an elevated deck with optional ‘sleepout’ platform. There are Under deck
siesta hammocks and a ground level ‘half’ bathroom with hand basin and flush
toilet. A secluded ablution deck with twin bucket showers, and plenty of hot
water, is shared by safari participants. Guests do not participate in the
erecting / dismantling of camp and luggage is transferred between camps by
vehicle. |

| Day 1 |
| On arrival at Maun Airport, meet and greet
assistance by a representative of Selinda Camp who will assist with arrivals
and show you through to their charter flight into the wilderness. On arrival
at Selinda airstrip, you will be collected by your guide and driven to
Selinda Camp. |

|
|
| The
Camp is built on a shady island overlooking
the waters of the eastern Selinda Spillway. Its 9 large, luxury tents are
erected under cool thatch canopies, with all units having exceptional views
across palm studded floodplains. Each tent has en-suite facilities,
including a stone bath that is a highlight of the bathrooms. The bathroom is
uniquely "open air" with lots of natural light, yet is screened and
virtually bug-proof. The tents which accommodate 18 guests are spacious and
beautifully appointed with furniture and features that have been collected
from around Africa. Four-poster mosquito nets and overhead fans are
standard. Guests can also enjoy a small plunge pool and the traditional
campfire. Daily activities revolve around morning, afternoon and night game
drives with experienced professional guides in custom built 4x4 Toyota Land
Cruisers. |

| Participants will spend the first night with normal
camp activities. A briefing will take place that evening with the Trails
guide. |

| Day 2 |
| After breakfast depart on the trail, arriving at the
first overnight trails camp before lunch. Lunch, siesta at the trails camp.
Afternoon walking in the vicinity of the trails camp. |

| Day 3 |
| After breakfast depart on the next trail, arriving
at the second overnight trails camp before lunch. Lunch, siesta at the
trails camp. Afternoon walking in the vicinity of the trails camp. |

| Day 4 |
| After breakfast depart on the final leg of the
trail, to arrive at base camp (Selinda Camp) before lunch. Lunch, siesta at
the trails camp. Afternoon game drive. |
|
| Day 5 ~ Safari Terminates |
| After an early morning activity and breakfast, you
will be transferred to Selinda airstrip where a plane wais for you. Seat in
plane light aircraft transfer from Selinda to Maun. Onward connections. End
of tour arrangements. |
