This safari is mainly for those clients who want to have sole use of the camp, for those looking for the ultimate in bush luxury and exclusivity. Guests may reserve the Enclave section of Shinde Camp for private use. The Enclave includes a private boma and a private bar / dining area / lounge overlooking the lagoon and a waiter/barman specifically assigned to this facility. A senior guide hosts guests and will escort them on private game activities: morning, afternoon and evening game drives, game walks, mokoros, motor boats and excellent fishing. The minimum reservation is for three nights. The Enclave is contracted on a flat fee basis; occupancy of this exclusive area is limited to six guests.
3 Days / 2 Nights Safari
DAY 1
Meet and greet assistance at Maun Airport by a representative of Shinde Enclave who will show you to your light aircraft. Seat in plane light aircraft transfer from Maun to Shinde, offering scenic views en-route.
Shinde Camp, commonly regarded as the finest location in the Okavango Delta, has developed a section of the camp for private use, The Enclave. Here,there are three tents, elevated on teak platforms overlooking a vast papyrus and reed expanse dotted with palm islands where frequent sightings of the elusive Sitatunga occur. Shinde offers you the opportunity to enjoy every type of activity that is available in the Delta. These range from game drives in open four wheel drive safari vehicles, power boat excursions, walks, fishing from the bank or from boats, mokoro (canoe) poled by one of expert guides.
Spend 2 nights at Shinde Enclave fully inclusive of all meals and snacks, local drinks, scheduled game viewing activities, daily laundry service, teas/coffees, emergency medical evacuation cover. Excludes items of a personal nature, premium branded drinks, curio shop accounts, gratuities/tips.
DAY 2:
Overnight Shinde Enclave on a fully inclusive basis.
DAY 3: SAFARI TERMINATES
After an early morning activity and breakfast, you will be transferred to Shinde airstrip where a plane waits for you. Seat in plane light aircraft transfer from Shinde to Maun. Onward connections.
