| MAKGADIKGADI PANS |
| The pans are roughly situated between Nata-Maun road and the
Francistown-Orapa-Rakops road. The pans promise a unique wilderness
experience full of adventure. During good rains a shallow sheet of water
forms on the pans that attract thousands of birds, especially Flamingos.

| DECEPTION VALLEY |

| Situated on the north eastern side of the Central Game Reserve. The game
is plentiful in the first few months of the year. The first flush of green
vegetation attracts thousands of springbok, gemsbok and wildebeest, ostrich,
giraffe, leopard, lion and cheetah and lots of smaller cats. One can visit

| KHUTSE GAME RESERVE |
| Khutse is situated in a unique part of the Kalahari, the vegetation is
similar to that of the Central Kalahari Game Reserve, consisting mainly of
acacia savannah. The chances of seeing lion in Khutse are very good. There
is one lodge situated ten kilometres outside the reserve that one can visit, namely Khutse
Kalahari Lodge. |
